Chlorosis

A deficiency symptom in which the leaves become lighter in color or turn yellow, while the leaf veins remain green. The most common causes are iron, magnesium, or copper deficiencies.

Chlorosis is a deficiency symptom in which the leaves lighten in color or turn yellow, while the leaf veins remain visibly green. This effect is caused by a reduction in or lack of chlorophyll. The most common causes are iron, magnesium, or copper deficiencies, often in calcareous soils.

Without treatment—for example, with AgroFerrum®—the leaves dry out and growth slows. As a result, flowering is reduced and yields are lower.
