Overview

In calcareous soils, iron is often unavailable to plants, even though it is present in the soil. This results in pale leaves and reduced crop yield. This is exactly where AgroFerrum® comes in—its fine particle size ensures uptake regardless of pH.

Application

AgroFerrum® is one of the few iron fertilizers that can be applied both foliar and through the roots. Important: Shake well before use and stir constantly during application. For fertigation, a separate micronutrient tank is recommended. It is best applied during the early growth phase or at the first signs of chlorosis.

Results

  • Mandarins: Increase in Iron Content in the Leaves
  • Ornamental plants: a noticeable increase in the green color of the leaves
  • Golf turf: more biomass, larger root surface area, earlier coverage

Conclusion

Iron chlorosis reduces yields before it becomes visible. An iron fertilizer that is absorbed regardless of pH addresses the problem at the root—literally.
