Overview

Berry crops are sensitive to stress—which has a direct impact on fruit size, yield, and marketability. In Kosovo, B+H Solutions supports farms throughout the entire season with a comprehensive program combining AgroArgentum® and AgroCyprum®.

Application

For blueberries, raspberries, and other berry crops, higher doses are used, specifically without boron. Application is done via foliar spraying or fertigation, timed to coincide with the flowering stage and fruit set.

Results

Blueberries

  • Higher yield per plant
  • Higher fruit weight
  • Higher sugar content
  • After 27 days of storage, the fruit showed significantly greater firmness than in the control group

The treated plants also produced more leaves and had a larger leaf area.

Raspberries

  • Higher yield per plant
  • Higher fruit weight and higher sugar content
  • Higher Vitamin C Content
  • A shelf life extended several times over

We will provide the specific key figures for this project during a personal meeting. Get advice

Conclusion

Heavier fruits with higher sugar content are one factor; longer shelf life is another: Both determine how much of the harvest can ultimately be sold.
